Maria Carfora è un soprano italiano. Sin da piccola dimostra grande passione per la musica ed il teatro.
Studia e consegue la laurea magistrale di alta 
formazione musicale in canto lirico al Conservatorio di Perugia brillantemente. Inizia giovanissima l’attività concertistica dove si esibisce in tante sedi prestigiose in Italia e all’estero.Si perfeziona seguendo notevoli corsi di perfezionamento, studiando con grandi nomi del panorama classico musicale, Daniela Dessi, Renata Scotto, Mietta Sighele e Veriano Luchetti.
L’ origine partenopea e l’amore per l’Italia la spingono a collaborare in alcuni progetti nazionali ed internazionali che sponsorizzano la musica italiana, tra le tante iniziative si è esibita alla rinomata “Italian Academy ” di New York su invito dell’E.N.I.T (ente nazionale turismo italiano).
L’artista è molto sensibile al tema di promozione della cultura italiana nel mondo attraverso la musica, convinta che la tradizione italiana debba essere tramandata e valorizzata, nonché, la musica essendo un linguaggio universale, rimane uno dei veicoli più importanti per esportare cultura ed anche per valorizzare la lingua italiana e di conseguenza il territorio.
La grande passione per il teatro di prosa oltre che per la lirica la porta a lavorare al fianco del Grande Maestro Giorgio Albertazzi, in una commedia sulla vita di Puccini interpretando e cantando alcune eroine pucciniane; commedia prodotta dal Teatro Ghione di Roma, andata in scena anche in molti altri Teatri italiani.
La sua voce è stata scelta per uno dei concerti che la Federazione Italiana Calcio ha sponsorizzato per rappresentare la Nazionale Italiana di Calcio nei Mondiali in Brasile del 2014 .
Ha il piacere di collaborare con grandi direttori d’orchestra tra cui il Maestro Daniel Oren e Alberto Veronesi, Andrea Morricone, Gustav Kuhn.
A Settembre 2015 il maestro A. Veronesi la sceglie per interpretare Musetta nella Boheme che trionfa al Teatro Antico di Pompei, con il Patrocinio del Ministero dei Beni Culturali e della Sovraintentendenza agli scavi di Pompei, affiancata da un grande cast. Opera, poi, prodotta e mandata in onda su Rai 5 e Sky Arte.
Interpreta, poi, nello stesso Teatro, l’anno dopo, ”Floria” nella Tosca.
Dal 2010 al 2015 è stata docente di canto ed interpretazione alla scuola privata di recitazione e spettacolo “Artes “ di Pomezia (Rm), con la direzione artistica del noto attore Enrico Brignano.
Collabora freelance, per la rubrica di musica e spettacolo, presso la testata giornalistica “Marcopolo News” iscritta presso il Tribunale di Roma.
Ospite di una serie di programmi televisivi, ottiene il suo primo contratto con la Rai, collabora con la produzione ad ideare uno spazio musicale, per la rete Rai Italia, nella trasmissione “Community” nella stagione 2017\18. Ripercorre i più grandi successi della musica italiana ed interpreta, inoltre, le canzoni scelte facendo rivivere le emozioni dalle più belle colonne sonore passando attraverso i classici della musica napoletana, ad alcuni successi di San Remo fino alle romanze della musica di fine ‘800.
Nell’anno 2018 l’artista inizia la collaborazione artistica con una nuova trasmissione di Rai Italia, ” L’Italia con voi”, sarà ospite fisso, pronta ad interpretare e raccontarci l’Italia attraverso la musica per tre stagioni, fino il 2021.
Nell’Ottobre 2019 Maria pubblica il suo primo singolo “Laudato si'” che vede la partecipazione straordinaria di Papa Francesco , autore del brano e di un musicista internazionale come compositore della musica, Romano Musumarra.
Maria sceglie di produrre ed interpretare la canzone “Laudato si’ ” che è un vero inno alla rivoluzione green.
La canzone “Laudato Si’ ” viene presentata per la prima volta al pubblico negli Stati Uniti, Maria si esibisce a New York, nella Cattedrale di San Patrick il 14 Ottobre 2019, invitata a prendere parte alla celebrazione del Columbus Day.
Durante ” La Settimana del Laudato si’ 2021″, a Maggio 2021, promossa dal Dicastero per il Servizio dello Sviluppo Umano Integrale e dal Global Chatholic Movement la canzone è stata colonna sonora di una delle giornate del Festival .
Il 13 Novembre 2021 Maria ha l’onore di cantare la canzone” Laudato si’ ” nella Basilica di San Pietro durante la XX edizione del ” Festival di Musica ed Arte Sacra”
Maria nel Dicembre 2021 inizia una collaborazione con Radio Rai, è autrice e conduttrice di un podcast “confidenze musicali” pubblicato e messo in onda su Rai Play sound, dove intervista grandi stelle della musica classica.
A Radio Rai 3 classica nell’anno 2021 ha ideato e condotto una trasmissione radiofonica ” Progressione ascendente” che valorizza i giovani talenti della musica classica.
Il 20 Febbraio 2022 è stato il Soprano scelto per aprire le celebrazioni della Giornata Nazionale degli Operatori Sanitari e Sociosanitari eseguendo l’Inno Nazionale Italiano, presso la sede della Fnomceo a Roma, alla presenza del Ministro della Salute, del Presidente dell’Ordine Nazionale dei Medici e di tante altre autorità presenti.
Maria nell’estate del 2022 ha ideato un format che prevede un podcast e delle tavole rotonde sul Giubileo. Collabora con la Direzione di Rai Radio per realizzare i due strumenti di diffusione sia come autrice che come conduttrice.
La prima tavola rotonda si è svolta il 16 Ottobre del 2022 nella storica sede di Rai Radio in Via Asiago, il primo ospite è stato Mons. Nunzio Fisichella. Il contenuto della tavola rotonda “Verso il Giubileo, pellegrini di Speranza” è online sul sito di Rai Play.
Maria Carfora is an Italian opera singer, soprano. Since she was a child, she has shown great passion for music and theatre.
She studied at the specialist school for opera singers in Perugia and brilliantly took her master’s degree.
She started performing very young in the most prestigious venues and theatres throughout Italy and abroad.She perfects the singing technique following prestigious masterclasses with Daniela Dessi, Renata Scotto, Mietta Sighele and Veriano Luchetti.
Her Neapolitan origin and her love for Italy and for Italian music led her to collaborate in some national projects that promote Italian culture and music abroad, among the various initiatives she performed at the renowned “Italian Academy” of New York at the invitation of ENIT (Italian tourism national body).
For the artist is really important to promote the italian culture in the world through music, convinced that the italian tradition must be handed down and valued, as well, music being a universal language, remains one of the most important vehicles to export culture and even to valorize the italian language and consequently the italian territory.
Passion for drama theater as well as for opera leads her to work alongside the Grand Master Giorgio Albertazzi, in a comedy about Puccini’s life interpreting and singing some Puccini heroines; the comedy will go on stage in many Italian theaters.
Her voice was chosen for one of the concerts that the Italian Football Federation sponsored to represent the Italian national football team in the Brazilian world championships of 2014.
She has collaborated with great conductors, including Maestro Daniel Oren and Alberto Veronesi, Andrea Morricone, Gustav Kuhn.
In September 2015 the maestro A. In 2018 the artist begins his artistic collaboration with a new Rai Italia program, ” l’Italia con voi” will be a regular guest, ready to interpret and tell us about Italy through music for three seasons.
In October 2019 Maria released her first single “Laudato si ‘” which sees the extraordinary participation of Pope Francis, author of the song and an international musician as composer of the music, Romano Musumarra.
Maria chooses to produce and interpret the song “Laudato si ‘” which is a true hymn to the green revolution.
The song was first presented to the public in the United States, Maria sung in New York, St. Patrick’s Cathedral on October 14, 2019.
During “Laudato Si’ 2021 Week”, promoted by The Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development and the Global Chatholic Movement, the song was the soundtrack of one of the days of the Festival.
In November 13 2021, Maria has the honor of singing the “Laudato si’ ” song in St. Peter’s Church in Rome during the “Festival di Musica ed Arte Sacra”

On February 20, 2022 he was the Soprano chosen to open the celebrations of the National Day of Healthcare and Social Healthcare Workers by performing the Italian National Anthem, at the Fnomceo headquarters in Rome, in the presence of the Minister of Health, the President of the National Order of Doctors and many other authorities present
Maria in the summer of 2022 created a format that includes a podcast and round tables on the Jubilee. She collaborates with the management of Rai Radio to create the two dissemination tools both as an author and as a presenter. The first round table took place on October 16, 2022 in the historic headquarters of Rai Radio in Via Asiago, Rome. The first guest was Mons. Nunzio Fisichella.
